Sounds crazy, but the best thing to flush out water is....more water (at least 2 liters a day)! It's perfectly normal for your weight to fluctuate a bit from day to day. I ate 3 ounces of salted macadamia nuts yesterday and today my weight is up 2 pounds. I know that this is not fat...it's physically impossible to gain 2 pounds of fat in one day...it's water retention from the salty nuts and will go away when I drink more water and the sodium levels in my body go back down again. Personally, I think a lot of us would be better off weighing just once a week or even once a month and stop obsessing about the numbers on the scale. As long as we are eating the way we should, the weight WILL come off in it's own time. Weighing yourself daily isn't going to speed up that process one bit, but could very well get us so stressed and frustrated that we don't loose because of the stress! I'm about to throw away my scale and weigh just once a month at my office where they have a doctor's office grade weight and balance scale. Granted, I can't weigh myself nude (without causing a stampede, anyway), but it's much more accurate than those spring type scales anyway. :D

I'm just so tired

Well today, my sugars have been like a bad Olympic score, 3.7 before bkfst. 3.8 two hours later, 3.8 three hours latIer.

I was so tired this morning I had left over chicken wings for breakfast(!) with and 1oz of sunflower seeds.

For lunch I had a piece of chicken and a greek salad with feta cheese.

For supper I had beef patties with a sour cream dip and brocolli and cauliflower with butter.

For desert two more ounces of sunflower seeds. I'm kind of nervous with Fitday down - but I think I'm okay. I'd love to have my strawberries and cream later this evening - I really enjoy that.

I went to the grocery store to buy crispbread and bought everything else but. I'm so use to avoiding those aisles. Anyway, I'm still a little tired. But I'm not giving up. I'm just finishing my second litre of water

Boy I miss my lattes!!!

Nan...

I'm used to American glucometers, so I'm not sure what those readings translate out to, numbers wise, but on the bright side look how absolutely stable they seem to be...not much fluctuation there at all! Given what you listed for carb foods today, I'd say you are pretty safe having your strawberries and cream tonight. Enjoy.
