I used to like there donuts like 2 years ago but recently, before I restarted atkins, i had one and they were just toooo sweet.

Just heard on the news that KK lost $24 million in the 1st quarter of this year and are blaming part of that loss on LC diets. THATS why they are developing a new "low sugar donut". Notice the news stroy didn't say healthy donut, because that would be totally rediculous. However, the low sugar donut just might appeal to those who find KK donuts "... sweet enough to give you instant diabetes". Thx TwilightZ for that quote.

We don't have a Krispy Kreme here yet - the ones they had were brought in from Minneapolis (sold as a school fund raiser). But, they are supposed to be building one here soon. It's been an on again, off again, now it's back on again sort of thing - they'll build IF they can get the lot they want, and it sounds like the current tenant who did not want to give up the building has finally been bullied into moving so Krispy Kreme can come in.

I just started in this department a month ago, and can't believe how much these guys LOVE treats. They must have them at least a couple times a week or more. Tuesday it was the Krispy Kremes, yesterday cookies, and today it's chocolate and strawberry cake donuts and bagels. And it all sits just a foot away from me. The Krispy Kremes' odor didn't appeal to me, but the chocolate smell today is driving me nuts!
