Hello there :)

That's great that your dh is doing it with you, it really does make it easier to have that in person support.

Congrats on what you've lost so far :)

Hi and welcome to the TDC. There is always room for one more because we all just lost enough weight in order to fit you in so you chose a great time to come.

I totally know what you mean about the scale not going past 320, mine would not go above 330 and the only way I found out I weighed 378 was by going to a special scale at my doctors office and by that time I had already lost at least 20 pounds. When my weight finally registered on my scale at home I was beside myself with joy. I started in Jan. of this year also and I love this WOL. We will be here to support you whenever you need us.

Welcome. I'm not sure of my start weight either because my doctor's scale "only" went up to 350 and I was above that. I guess 360, but it could have been closer to 370.

Glad you are here! I too had trouble weighing, and finally found scales that went up to 400, so can now watch the numbers drop. (I'm presently patiently waiting, as I've been in a stall for a while.) But I would be on the lookout for some scales so you can have a tangible measure for encouragement, because the pounds and inches don't necessarily happen concurrently. Do you check to see if you're in ketosis with the sticks? That too, helped me before the scales. At least if the sticks turned any shade of pink, I knew the fat was burning. Just any little thing like that will serve as encouragement and help keep your determination strong. I teach also - 2nd grade. What grade do you teach? I have found that this WOE keeps my energy level up so much more than when I ate carbs. Ooooh - carbs make me want to nap all the time! Anyway, glad you are here!

Welcome aboard, Pidosmom. It's nice that your DH has decided to join you this time around. Best wishes to both of you on your LC journey.
