Today is the beginning of a new day
God has given me this day to use as I will
I will use it for good
Because what I do today is important
As I am exchanging a day of my life for it
Therefore I will have:
Goodness in all I do
Success abounding all around me
Gain in every area of my life
Unconditional love for and from everyone
Because everything I do
Is in harmony with my beliefs
Thank you God for your unfailing and super-abundant providence

Everything always happens in Your time

Liz,

What you are experiencing is not uncommon, and there is a simple explanation for it. Many people have a problem with this because they aren't used to thinking this way. "Dreaming" is something that is discouraged after you have "grown up" because you are expected to live in reality. Most of the time these affirmations can start as dreams, expressed as if you have already achieved them. So what are your dreams? What are the deep down desires that you still hold in your heart that you haven't told anyone for fear of being ridiculed? Take these things and make positive, present tense affirmation out of them and watch what happens. If you find it hard to really believe them, that is ok. Just say them out loud with feeling as if you believe them. Let your self go and dream - it is essential to success. You have to keep what you want in front of you to get it - you can't hide it away.

Also - don't worry about the "but's" that keep popping up when trying to write these. It doesn't matter how feasible or realistic we think these affirmations are - just dream and write it down. Don't listen to the "but's" - they are the very things that hold us back from our dreams.

Ellen,

That is beautiful - thank you for sharing it.

Ozarkslady,
