My 15year old daughter wants to do a complete clothes
makeover for me. She always telling me that my clothes
are hanging off me. I have started wearing her clothes that are to big for her until I reach my goal.

My 17 yr old daughter said I'm gonna become "Stacy's Mom" (from the song). I keep telling her I'm gonna be hot when I get thin. She just rolls her eyes.

When we go shopping, she keeps picking out these clothes for me that are just not my style. I might have to rethink what my style is.

I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I have always been extreamly careful to not use the word diet around them, or to put myself down ebcaus eit effects thier self image as well.

My 4 year old does think all the veggies I try to get him to eat with me is torture though. And when doing yoga the kids would crawl under me, or start pushing me to try to tip me over :p When he got older he would try to do stretches with me, so I got him a kids yoga tape he likes. :)

Land's End and Levis make custom made jeans ???? Where ?? How ???

I would love to get hold of one of those. I am severely pear shaped and actually need 3 different sizes in one pair of Jeans  .

I will fly to the US, if I can find a pair that fits !!!!

Basically, the only ones that do fit me are DKNY-Jeans, but they are hard to get hold of at a decent price here.

Anyone else who has found a Jeans for Pear shapes ?

My teenager story goes back to last summer, when I was first starting Atkins. My dd spent her time doing what she loves best--working at the stables with her friends. It turns out that all the kids there were comparing WHAT diets all their moms were on, and how MUCH weight they had lost! I was so mortified....

(of course, that was when I was first starting Atkins, now I guess I'm pretty proud that it works!!!)

So, beachmum, how does your daughter feel now, that you are healthy and svelte?

Ask and you shall receive

Piano,

Here's the link on the Land's End site for the custom jeans http://www.landsend.com/cd/fp/prod/...026978446183810.

Btw, the lower waist jeans is perfect for pears (think J. Lo). I have that issue with the waist always being way too big.

Hope that helps,
Danakins

My kids (ages 2 & 5) are really too young to have an opinion, but they like the cute t-shirts I buy in the juniors dept. My step-daughter is 19 and loves it when I dress trendy. She is a little heavy-set, so she is jealous (but not in a mean way) of my ability to wear things like a stretch denim jumpsuit (think Avengers). Usually I HATE shopping, but it's fun to go shopping with her and have her pick things out for me. She never tells me I'm too old to wear something, perhaps even when she should! One of these days they're going to kick me out of the juniors dept...

BTW, I only wear low-waist jeans because my waist is so big! Avoids the baggy butt syndrome...

wow, finally a pair of trousers which I can design to be a size 12 waist, size 14 hips and size 8 leg-length.... But they only deliver to the US. I might be going for a holiday there soon. Maybe I order some of them then. I wish I could find a place here which does it...
