Hi Helena! There are lots of legal salad dressings around, so there's no need to be stuck with that icky white vinegar. Just check the labels to be sure there is no sugar, fructose, etc. and check the carb count to be sure that it's 0-1. I know it can be frustrating when the scale isn't moving, but if you're being good and exercising, keep checking the inches you are losing. It's very possible that you're building lean muscle which, I'm told, weighs more than fat. This WOE is as much about getting healthier as it is about the shear number of pounds lost per week. Good luck! Julie.

Welcome to the TDC! It's common not to lose any weight in weeks three and four on Atkins. Your weight loss should pick up again as long as you are consistent about your eating.

Why are you eating white vinegar if you don't like it? I make all my own salad dressings out of olive oil and red wine vinegar (0 carbs), which I much prefer to white vinegar. I put it in a jar, add seasonings, usually some grated parmesan cheese, sometimes some Dijon mustard, and then close the jar and shake to mix it up well. Technically you should use a whisk, but shaking works just as well for me and is easier. Also, make sure you are eating at least three cups of vegetables a day -- you need that for your health.

Thank you all for your good suggestions! I went out and bought some caesar dressing that is 0 carb last night. It tastes better than the white vinegar anyway. I think I'm gonna try the red wine vinegar tommorrow and see if I like it any better.

This group is great! :)

It sounds like you are off to a good start. Don't worry about the second week, I didn't lose anything the second week either. Many people get the "third week stall", we just got it a little early.
