YES i know what you mean - i decided to give slim fast another try and i have strangely gained 2 lbs - i ate only what i had to 1200 cals a day and i am UP!

oh why did i change. i am going back to atkins!

should never have turned my back on LC

back now though!

on the slim fast thing- if you go from lo carb to something carby like SF - you will regain water weight as your muscle glycogen refills. You didn't gain 2 lbs of fat - anymore than you lost actual fat when you first switched to LC.
if you follow the CKD forums, on a "carb up" weekend people can gain 5-7 lbs on maintenance calories - nearly all just water balance.

Wow now thats very interesting.

Thanks alot because I could not understand it.

However i had a rough time and i feel better on LCarb diet because i dont feel as shaky on it.

back to LC it is.
