day one, I had a bagel and a baked potato as bad foods

didnt have some of that leftover birthday cake, (AAAGHHHHH STOP THINKING ABOUT IT NOW!)

and didnt be otherwise bad, cept for ummmm oranges and an apple

but other than that, not too bad!

is fruit ok to have?

Dude, you really might want to read one of the LC books and follow the plan. ;) Certain fruits are okay on certain plans, but there are conditions. Have you checked out the "Which LC Plan Is Right For Me" link yet?

Good advice from Kristine.

While you are perusing the bookshelves, pick up South Beach Diet and look through it. It's kinda like Atkins, but a little lower fat, with lots of emphasis on veggies. And after two weeks of Phase I / Induction, you get to have some fruit and grains. Either way, there's some good stuff in there about good/bad carbs and good/bad fats that makes sense to me.

You might like it.

Throw the leftover cake away.

Good luck on the journey. You can do this.

rats!
the oatmeal and chipped beef was good, also had a 4 oz glass of juice that was oj and cranberry mixed, which was prolly a carb bomb as well, also I drink some black cherry juice through the day to battle a problem I have with gout

works great, but at 180 carb cals a dose, its potentially expansive medicine, lol

my kidneys are not so hot either, have to get a nephrological work up done that begins with a 24 hour urine sample. and I never have a 24 hour slot that I can devote to a bottle, lol

I know, find the time ... its tough tho, this daddy business SUCKS, lol, daddy do this, daddy do that, daddy is going to run away, lol, THAT will get some exercise in!

Anyway, hmmmm, back to the ol drawing board, I think the insulin resistance program is the best for me, because I feel I am profoundly resistive to insulin

some how, some way ....

some day!

ah well, edging 1 pm, time to go to the ol University

on with the day!
