Starting a Journal

Go to the main forum menu and click on My Low Carb Journal/Bootcamp use the jounal thread that contains the first letter of your screenname (in your case it would be "r").Start a "new thread with the name of your journal and enter some info to get you started. You will then have a "journal icon at the top of the page that you can click to take you directly to your journal whenever you want. Then each day just go to it and enter whatever you want (how you feel, what you ate, stats, what's happening in your life, etc.)MAKE YOUR ENTRIES AS REPLIES TO THE THREAD.... others can view your info and comment on it if you like (can get some great help this way!). To see some samples, just click on the journal icon at the bottom of anyone's post. You are welcome to check mine out if you want to hear about the "itchy crud" I have been going through! :lol: Good Luck! Kat |

Week 2 down, 10 more to go
So, how is everybody doing with the challenge?
I am down 11 1/2 pounds for the two weeks. The first was an 8 1/2-pound loss, and week 2 I was down an additional 3 pounds. I would rather be losing about 4 pounds per week, but I need to be happy with 3. My eating was erratic (as you can see in my journal). It was not so much a case of going overboard with carbs (I did not), but with my schedule I was not eating properly. I hope all of you are reaching your own level of success. BObby |
