Thanks for all the support! Its good to hear how others are doing. Today was totally crazy in terms of food - mainly because i went ahead and started induction and didn't go to the store until this evening - so there I was in the groc store STARVING because i had no food at home to eat for supper before I got there! (i had fixed breakfast and lunch.) I made it through shopping without buying any coke, candy, chips or bad carb stuff (and hey, shopping without going into the middle of the store is GREAT tip!) and as I was waiting outside for my cab to go home, I was ripping through the bags looking for something I could eat right then. I found the mozzarella string cheese - but couldn't open the package!! no scissors. After howling at the moon, i searched some more and found the swiss cheese which I did get open and had half a slice and managed to relax. Fixed a low carb supper at home and then went to fitday.com and entered what I'd eaten and discovered that my protein was only at 18%. Fat was up there and carbs were good but it seemed like i might should have some protein. So i had a snack tonight of salad shrimp (no dressing or anything) and now I seem to be at a pretty good ration for the day of fat-carb-protein. Whew!

Based on how much I just wrote hear, i think maybe i will start a journal here on these forums.
