hey deana, to be safe I just stick to the atkins products and carbolite products they already subtract the fibre and all that and says right on the bar how many carbs, most are between 0-3g its so exciting when u find them , taste them and know u arent cheating. :yay:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news (so please don't cut off my feet!! :p ) but a lot of folks find that they can't eat these products on a regular basis and still lose weight. In other words, products with sugar alcohols in them are known stallers.
If you have been eating quite a few low carb goodies with sugar alcohols in them and notice that your weight loss seems to stop or slow considerably, those are the first things that I would suggest that you cut out.
Are they bad for you? I don't think so, but even having diarrhea too often can cause some problems of it's own.
The old adage fits well here...let the buyer beware. Until you know how they will affect you, I'd suggest not spending a lot of money and getting a lot of low carb candy only to find out that you can't eat it because it gives you diarrhea/gas or it brings your weight loss progress to a screeching halt.
