The fake float idea sounds great!

I've been drinking Diet Rite (splenda) since starting induction. My favorite flavor is the tangerine. There's also a white grape flavor that is pretty good.

I also drink the Diet Vanilla Coke. Never liked the regular Coke  I drink a can every other day. When I get home I drink about 2 liters of water by the time I go to bed.

I average at least 2 liters of water a day as well

Dr. Atkins said don't use aspartame cos of its bad health effects. Some people find it causes stalls too. I have an occasional, maybe once or twice a week drink with it in it and every now and then, sf jello with it in it. Doesn't stall me, but I just limit it cos I don't tend to want to drink water with diet colas around as much. If I want one, I have to go to the convience store to pick it up.

Diet Pepsi Vanilla is even better then the diet vanilla Coke, IMO... Now if I could only get diet orange around here!!!!

If you can get Atkins Endulge vanilla ice cream, which in my opinion is deLISH, it's terrific with the diet root beer!! I am finding it in more and more stores.

Also, I am seeing a LOT of Atkins products everywhere -- the bandwagon has gotten really big! The chocolates aren't bad at all, especially the peanut butter cups!

If you can find it, Canfield's Diet Chocolate Fudge soda might tickle those chocolate taste buds--as long as it doesn't trigger cravings. Mix this with protein powder for a nutritious breakfast or snack. It does contain aspartame, but no caffeine.

It is a problem if it stalls you or causes cravings or if you're concerned about future health problems.

For myself, I take in a 24 oz of Diet Pepsi Slurpee every day, which really helps me to get that sweet fix and I'm happy :) No stalling either.
