I'm still hanging in here. This thread has helped me keep my focus. I just started using fitday, I found my calories and fat were quite low. I have been trying to make changes.

congratulations to all the losers, I'm actually looking forward to weighing in on thanksgiving.

Tell me its okay

I hopped on the scale at the gym and it said 156. I usually weigh first thing in the morning and without clothes, but 156! I just had shorts a t-shirt, a light jacket and shoes on. How much could that weigh?

Should I get batteries for my scale and find out if I really have gained
?

Generally, its a good idea to stick with one scale... if you go "scale-hopping" then your bound to get all sorts of results...

Your best bet would get some batteries and use the scale that you have been using...

Hope this helps,
Korry

jean issues...

Great... My 38" Jeans are droopy... and my 36" jeans are skin tight around my butt LOL... but the waist is fine...

In other words, I got some running to do... my butt apparently is too big... LOL

have a good one,
Korry

thanks Korry. Hey I thought 36 is really small for a guy. I guess you'll have to post a picture and we'll let you know about the butt size. :p

I weighed my clothes. I work in a lab and have a small scale. Just in case you ever wondered what clothes weigh.

1 shoe and shorts .92lbs
1 shoe and keys .78lbs
jacket 0.80lbs (not accurate, but close, I couldn't fit it all on the scale)
t-shirt 0.48lbs

my clothes weigh 2.98lbs total

korry1977 Tue, Nov-04-03 15:27

Yeah... I will be happy with 36... dont want to get any below that... LOL...

If I ever get a hold of digital camera at home... LOL.. I will post them... (there are so tight around my butt, I am afraid to go outside in them... LOL)

Have a good one,
Korry

Way to go all my shrinking friends !!! CONGRATS.
The last time I saw a 32 pants was in 1992 OY, my hubby wears a 32 ~&%#&~(!!!!! brat! LOL

Stay with one scale for sure, usually scales in doctors offices or gyms, places like that are off. If you ask them when was the last time they calibrated their scales, chances are they never did, so mostlikely they are off a couple of pounds (most places are to cheap to hire someone to calibrate them).

So far this week I'm doing well. I've added a 1/4 cup of plain yogurt to my mornings. Just want to see if it helps. I add some vanilla syrup (Davinci's) in it and its pretty darn good !

Still haven't started exercising OY!

Well, my 36's are starting to a little loose... sure it will get better on the way... LOL

have a good one,
Korry

Oh My gosh, I have been bemoaning the fact that I think my weight is at a standstill, until I finally checked in on the challenge. I went on vacation, had birthdays and all other stuff and did not realize that I have lost since starting this challenge. Thank goodness for these wonderful boards, they give me just the pick up I need.

Everyone, you are all doing so well and I am really impressed with your posting and encouragement.
