We had a great month, with all the holidays looking us straight in the eyes. We have many new faces at the new forum and hope it will stay strong. We do miss you and hope you'll come join us. I think we call it The NEW YEAR, THE NEW US or something like that. I have gained at least 5 pounds. I have to get a grip. Hope you're ok, Love, Annie ( who really misses you a whole bunch)! |
I have gained at least 7 pounds back and I think today I got a grip on things finally.
We started off today with brunch. I wasn't hungry when I got up so we didn't have breakfast. A tuna melt on a 5 carb tartillia with cheese. about 3 hours later Toni and I split a small apple with peanut butter. All natural with no salt. For dinner I made poached salmon and sting beans and we had a 2 carb ice cream chocolate bar. Then 3 hours later some celery sticks with cream cheese and 2 olives. Much better then the weeks before Christmas. I really had a hard time programing myself to get back to eating LC. Now with the meat scare in our area and us not eating beef it is even going to be harder. Going to have to find some of them Vegetarian recipes that are around for low carb. I have heard of them but haven't seen them. On a hunt for them as well. Now my daughter made something with chic peas and curry and it was wonderful. I was really surprised. The chic peas are considered a protein she was telling me and the good kind of carbs. So I have a lot to learn here. hugz Nancy |
